Service Learning SDG's: Life on Land (15)
Waste Management
Hello guys! For this moment, I will discuss about one of the Service Learning SDG's point. I choose the 15th point (Life on Land), and here I take the topic namely Waste Management. The reason I took this topic, because waste is one of the biggest problem for Indonesia. Let's think about a few month ago, many areas of Indonesia were flooded, and one of the main causes is waste. Every village in Indonesia must have good waste management so that problems such as scattered waste, littering, can be handled properly and optimally.
So Therefore, I did some investigation, preparation and planning, and action to help deal with it. You guys can follow it and apply it around your environment so that the waste problem can be solved immediately. Here we gooo!!!
Preparation & Planning
I'm motivated to make posters aimed at villagers to educate about disposing of waste in it's place and according to it's type.
Besides that, I've bought several trash cans which will later be distributed to the villagers to minimize littering.
In other to those mentioned above, village officials can carry out waste management planning. For example, building a waste bank, fines people who litter, etc.
Action
I stick posters around the village environment so that people are moved to dispose of waste properly and correctly.
I started distributing some trash cans to the villagers.
Waste bank is available, village waste will be easier to manage.
Those were some of the activities I did to manage waste and prevent waste accumulation. Hopefully with this, you can imitate my actions to make the surrounding community aware of the importance of disposing of waste in it's place. I also hope that people can be moved to change their mindset that littering can cause huge natural problems.

BalasHapusI totally agree!, because garbage is scattered everywhere, sometimes people are not aware of it and still litter, therefore it is necessary to be aware of them to dispose of garbage according to its category so that it is easy to manage, with this article there are definitely many people who are motivated to do this the same one.

BalasHapusIt's really great, your planning is very well organized to educate the public and readers to sort out the garbage, and the action is also going well. I hope they're more aware of this problem.

BalasHapuswow that's a good step arsala by sorting or distinguishing waste it makes it easier for garbage collectors to manage the waste again and many other benefits

BalasHapusThe ideas discussed in the blog are very good. People in Indonesia are still rarely willing to dispose of waste by sorting. And what Arsala did can give an example that waste sorting is important, and the method of sorting waste is easy to implement.

BalasHapusBy this article I know more about the importance of disposing of waste according to it's type. Disposing trash in the place is true, but disposing trash according to it's type is better. Thank you Arsala

BalasHapusI agree with you Arsala. Currently in some areas the accumulation of garbage is getting out of control. We already know about the main problem in these society is low awareness of importance throwing garbage properly. For me your actions give us the right solution to overcome that problem. Keep going on Arsala !

BalasHapusI totally agree with what you are doing. Garbage is often underestimated by our society. Need high awareness, to reduce waste in our country.
